“Stopped off the highway looking for breakfast. Saturday morning at about 10am there was no wait which was amazing. Has all the breakfast staples. Got a skillet and a side of biscuits and gravy. Good portion sizes and friendly waitress.”

“We were pleasantly surprised! When we pulled up there was a truck festioned with idiot trump flags and I did not have high hopes. I had a pulled pork sandwich and slaw. The pork was not greasy at all, slaw was delicious and crisp. The bbq sauce was overly sweet and kinda meh which downgraded the rating. Staff was super friendly. My boyfriend had the tips plate with potato salad. Tips were also surprisingly not greasy and very good. Potato salad was a little weird with cheese in it but not bad. Would defnitely visit again next time I’m passing through.”

“I’m a local resident and I’ve been coming here for years. Breakfast, lunch, & dinner, it is always fast and fresh. They have daily specials that are very good too. It’s never a bad idea to stop here if you’re looking for some quick and delicious Mexican food in Morris.”

“It was busy when we were there with a few birthday parties but we weren’t forgotten!!! Tiffany was great! We will be back! We had the pot roast nachos super yum “alittle salty but great”…. BLT wrap was good (I didn’t notice the heat of the sirracha mayo but very good). 1/2 white fried chicken was real good too! And the drinks were tasty too!”

“This spot is for the regulars and the truckers. The conversations here are going to be next level because everyone loves each other just a lil bit. Indepent message: don't start nothing cause I'll get u out of here, aside from that they can't oked deep fried turkey for us on Thanksgiving and it was really good. (I'm a stickler and a food critic, and from the east coast). They don't fail even with the hurdles, come stop in, you'll love it here”

“Such a cozy place especially recently since I had been going with a friend before and they only improved on everything from before such as plates, atmosphere, and drinks. A bit expensive if you're paying for multiple people, but if you and your friends are splitting it it's perfect for each individual person. Servers and owners seem very friendly. Amazing food.”

“This was surprisingly good. It’s in a Loves stop area. Food was fresh. Michael, believe he was the manager, was really kind and thoughtful. The customer service was top notch. We went with a bowl with chicken. The falafel was better than this place in Youngstown - really crispy. The place was very clean and the AC was cool. It was a great stop! Naf naf means fan the flame…yall keep cookin!”

“I worked with Michelle and Jessica to help plan for an engagement party that didn’t have an exact hard head count. They were fantastic to work with, flexible, and really helped make our day special and enjoyable. The back room was was the perfect space for people to mingle and sit if they wished. The food and wine are excellent, and the co*cktails are well made. It’s one of our favorite places in Morris, and would highly recommend for dinner or any event.”

“Cute little coffee shop in Morris! I ordered the medium churro iced coffee with easy cream, it was delicious ?! Went out for a walk/coffee date through downtown with a friend and was pleasantly surprised by this puzzle in their dining area! Nice place to stop for a sip and read a book if you want! I will definitely be back! Great service too!”

“This store alone made my bicycle trip from loves travel stop to see the river all worthwhile. Although I did try extremely hard to make the fudge and other goodies I got to last. It seems the delicious goodness is just too hard to will a longer savor out of due to its content. I have strong will and was only able to savor different pieces into lasting 1-2 days. Instead of the 3-4 I had originated.”

“Ordered shrimp egg foo young and chicken fried rice. The food was delicious!Plenty of shrimp in egg foo young. Chicken pieces were decent sizes and portioned to the amount of rice. I live an hour away, have family who lives in area and I visit maybe once a week and make sure I stop in.Planning on trying some of the other dishes.”

“Wednesday 3/13 lunch time. Guy on the slicer who I assume is the gm has fantastic customer service skills. Woman working next to him building the sandwiches did great as well. The menu clearly states every sub comes mikes way, but they still make sure you understand that… which is awesome considering I know lots of people would overlook that. Seeing how this location is set up, it’s hard to imagine how they’d be able to handle an extremely busy rush, but for how busy it was, the 3-4 people there were all doing great keeping up and communicating. Good job”

Been frequenting the Goose for the the last 15+ years & can honestly say it has only gotten better with age! Friendly & nice bartenders! Always quick & delish drinks… at great prices! “Every time we've gone here , everything has been very good! from the chips, to the various dishes everything has Been excellent! We’ve tried the pollo fondillo, the fondillo del patron, and today we tried the Burritos Chicago which was excellent! The Horchatas are also very good ! Forget the other low quality Mexican places around the area, this is the real deal. The prices are very reasonable, and they are very generous with the amount of food they give you. The food is high quality as well. Bravo Hacienda del Patron!”

“The lemon bars are to die for. Had a Danish and an elephant ear too. Both pretty good! I recommend going early in the day. They get picked over by the afternoon. It's pretty small to dine in. But it's perfect to order what you want and go. Or walk around outside and eat it on the downtown strip.”

“I was just driving through Morris, Illinois, and happened upon this gem!Delicious! I had the chicken piccata. It came with a French onion soup that was just perfect! Baked to perfection and TONS of melted mozzarella.The capers and lemon zestiness was exquisite in the chicken piccata.Ask Madison! She is a super friendly waitress and was awesome!Dietary restrictions: Lots of options!”

“Bar hopped during Corn Fest and out of all the bars in the walkable downtown Morris area, this is the bar that I deem the best. Hard cider enthusiasts this place has hard to find beverages from "green man Cider" and " eris hard Cider" from all the way over in Chicago. It was loud on my visit, very diverse and divey place. Great outdoor area too. All around great and best service.”

“Always a very good time. Friendly staff friendly people. At first you may feel a little cramped just because of the shape but once you settle in and get to know everybody it feels like you're with family. Very friendly bartenders quick and prompt.”

“We stop by almost every time we go up to Joliet or Chicago. Their toasted subs called Grinders are 18 inch sized and are delicious. We had a Bellacino's in Peoria but it went out of business here years ago. So we stop by the one in Morris as it is close to I 80 expressway. Very tasty crab/seafood grinder is my favorite. We each got an extra grinder to take home and eat tomorrow as a treat( my wife and I).”

“Melissa is so talented! She made this amazing cake for my parents 50th wedding anniversary!! It was not only gorgeous but delicious too!! She was so wonderful to deal with as well. She was very prompt with answering any questions! Thank you for helping make my parents anniversary so special!!”

“My Server was Valerie, she was very nice and did a good job handling all the tables that were there when we first walked in. The Mac and Cheese bites were good and the ranches that came with it were even better lol. We got the BBQ Chicken pizza and it was fresh and hot and tasted amazing. Something went wrong and the pizza ended up sliding down and fell of the table onto the floor. Pretty much the whole pizza with oobly a fee slices out of it. I felt horrible and didn't know what to do. But Valerie came over and offered to help us out and ended up making a second smaller pizza of the same kind for us. She was helpful and friendly and I just wish I had more cash on me at the time. I will definitely go back and hope she's there to give her a better tip next time. My only thing against the place is how incredibly cold it was. So definitely bring a sweatshirt.”

“It is currently 2024 and I am back to Corleones after last having a sandwich back in 2011 - I traveled 300 miles out of my way just to get the screaming salami, that’s how good it is!!! The owners are absolutely wonderful people, I had a great conversation with them and they were so kind and friendly. The food is beyond delicious. When you walk into the restaurant, you were greeted with such a magnificent smell, I wish I could bottle it up. I wish this business and the family continued success as I will be back in the future for more!”

“I went to the Starbucks drive through and asked the barista I believe her name was Julia what a good drink to get was and she said to try a Carmel Crunch Frappuccino and let her know what I thought about it. “The employees at this location truly grow out of their way for exceptional service. I just had someone run me out my drink while I was waiting for my order curbside and they apologized that she didn’t bring it out sooner just in case I was thirsty! “Dairy Queen drive-thru at night is the best I love dairy Queen their food is put together perfectly their fries are hot and fresh their service is fast but at the same time polite I love going there their burgers never fall apart and whoever is running that night shift is doing an awesome job love going to dairy Queen at night McDonald's is horrible I don't know why people go there”
