You could just feel the love in the air and sunlight added to a glorious day filled with love. It is one of the busiest day's in the year for restaurants and florists, and they were filled to capacity all over Monroe and West Monroe.
Many special Valentines were shining February and among the special ones with big hearts were: Barbara Cattar, JoAnn Crone, Judge Wendell Manning, Stephens Winters, Caroline Brown, Jenny Yatco, Charles Masur, Amanda Reeves, Scott Brandle, Dr. Ricky Caples, Chris Allums, Beverly Wilson, Bobby Wilson and many more who make this a nice place to live. The men's club 21 and guests of Bastrop held a Valentine's party for Theadora Estis, Mid-South Delta Leadership graduate, visited with program developers Brent Hales, Gumbel, Christy Montesi, Myrtis Tabb and Obadiah Simmons.
Estis was one of two Louisianans selected last summer. Baron Glass of Columbia was the other. The Laudenheimer Circle of Lea Joyner United Methodist held a dinner party and among those attending were: Dot Key, Ellen Bowen, Vicki Fuller, Diane Cottingham, Sara Cromwell, Elaine Yvonne Drummond, Doris Jones, Alice Ray, Vicki Strickland, Jo Rugg, Lya Thomisee, Nancy Wallace and Sharon Gill. The Junior League of Monroe ladies have been working hard year for Spring Market.
