You could just feel the love in the air and sunlight added to a glorious day filled with love. It is one of the busiest day's in the year for restaurants and florists, and they were filled to capacity all over Monroe and West Monroe.

Many special Valentines were shining February and among the special ones with big hearts were: Barbara Cattar, JoAnn Crone, Judge Wendell Manning, Stephens Winters, Caroline Brown, Jenny Yatco, Charles Masur, Amanda Reeves, Scott Brandle, Dr. Ricky Caples, Chris Allums, Beverly Wilson, Bobby Wilson and many more who make this a nice place to live. Among those sharing and returning love for the day of love were: the Friendship Class of First United Methodist Church including Kathy and Darrell Duke, Kathy and Bill Hunt, Dot and Don Spencer, Dorothy and Wayne Kelly, Carol and Jim Rogers, Lynn and Johnny Jacobs, Linda and Bruce Hursey, Janet and Ray Dawson, Mary and Morris Rabb, Debbie and David Mc Lemore, Marsha and Gene Baker, Beverly Knight, Sara and John Shamblin, Vanelle and Marshall Bice, Nike and Bob Anderson, Carolyn and Jerry Rester, Pam and Fred Hill, Allison and Charlie Wilkes, Christine and Dave McCaskill, Brenda and Bob Rowan, Jane and Richard Bordelon, Tricia and Norris Hertzog, Carolyn and Padg Bolton, Dawn Knight and Ram Tanguturi. The men's club 21 and guests of Bastrop held a Valentine's party for Theadora Estis, Mid-South Delta Leadership graduate, visited with program developers Brent Hales, Gumbel, Christy Montesi, Myrtis Tabb and Obadiah Simmons.

Estis was one of two Louisianans selected last summer. Baron Glass of Columbia was the other. The Junior League of Monroe ladies have been working hard year for Spring Market.
